Beginner Scratch (Level ⭐)

Service Description

This course is designed for complete beginners and is the starting point of the Catford Coding Club curriculum. No previous coding experience is required. Children are introduced to the fundamentals of coding using Scratch, a visual programming language ideal for learning core concepts in a clear and engaging way. They will learn how to: • Add and connect code blocks • Work with sprites, costumes, and sounds • Understand key programming ideas such as sequencing, events, loops, and simple logic Through guided projects, children will create: • Animations • Simple games • Interactive apps • A short digital story or book Beginner Scratch builds the essential foundations needed to progress to Advanced Scratch, and later move on to text-based programming with Python.
